An archaeologist from the Vrak – Museum of Wrecks in Stockholm has finally found the remains of the Swedish warship Äpplet. King Gustav II Adolf commissioned the vessel in 1625, and four years later it was launched to help fight in Thirty Years War (1618-1648). Its sister warship, Vasa, was discovered in 1961. 

"Interactive Spatial Experiences" places Krefeld native Adolf Luther’s work, exhibited at Haus Esters, in dialogue with the work of Franco-Argentine artist Julio Le Parc next door at Haus Lange. The 2 brick houses, which stand side by side, were designed together by Mies Van der Rohe in 1928-30.

A pioneering French collector of Art Brut (often translated as Outsider Art), Bruno Decharme brought this genre from the fringes to the Musée National d'Art Moderne (Paris) with a remarkable donation in 2021. A milestone for art history studies and for the man now focusing on Photo Brut, or Outsider photography.

An American soldier took the two works on paper by Adolf Kozarksi during the Second World War. Though the veteran has now died, his daughter contacted the Monuments Men Foundation, who found the Polish family to who the drawings belonged.
