Renovation work on the house-studio, Villa Seurat in Paris, of the tapestry renovator and member of the Academy of Fine Arts, Jean Lurçat, began on June 29, with a view to opening it to the public. Bequeathed to the Academy in 2010, the house was built by the architect André Lurçat, brother of the artist.
