Comme les cuillères Lega, ces objets en ivoire étaient l'apanage des grands initiés de la société du bwami. Investie du même rôle identitaire et rituel, cette cuillère Boa est surmontée d'un manche délicat. Finement ajourée, sa forme fait songer à deux personnages adossés hautement stylisés.
La belle patine miel alliée à la douceur de la matière témoigne d'un usage important et répété.
