Beautiful wrought-iron Indo-Persian rondache, hemmed at the edges. Gilded copper bosses. Fully and richly decorated in gold with foliage in the center and a large frieze of riders, animals and birds. Green velvet lining with four attachment rings B.E. (minor wear, missing border and one dent). 19th century Diameter: 42 cm A Khedive bodyguard helmet (Egypt). Nineteenth-century European bomb, crescent-shaped, arrow-nosed. Bosses decorated with stars. Nape of the neck with chain mail. Circa 1860. As is (Missing headpiece and chinstraps).
