Relief-covered lined sugar pot with polychrome decoration of botanical flowers on a background of Japanese prunus branches in relief and a gold fillet around the rim. The handle of the lid is in the shape of an acorn with a gold background set on foliage. Interlaced LL mark and three dots. 18th century. Circa 1751-1752. Height: 10.5 cm The term "lizonné" is used in contemporary inventories of objects of this shape, and applies to a variety of slightly ribbed pieces, whose surface appears corrugated.
