Rare large incense burner featuring the head of a Moorish man wearing a turban, earrings and a quiver with arrows on his back, turned on his right side, with white enamel decoration. Original silver mounting with dog's head hallmark under the management of Hubert LOUVET, Paris, 1732-1738. 18th century. Circa 1732-1738. Height : 18 cm The counterpart to this perfume burner, featuring a male Moor's head, is kept at the Musée des Arts décoratifs in Paris (inv. 8858).
