Covered gourd-shaped teapot with ribbed rim and white enameled decoration of prunus branch and flowers. The handle of the lid features a flowering branch applied in relief. Original silver mounting with dog-head hallmark under the management of Hubert LOUVET, Paris, 1732-1738, holding the lid by a chain and encircling the end of the spout. 18th century (two small chips at the grip and enameling defect near the spillway).
