Very rare clock.
The centauress, the sea horse and the aquatic plant, evoking a caduceus, are entirely covered in kiln-fired gold.
The dial is in repoussé brass, patinated and, in part, polychromed, and features circular cartouches with Roman numerals.
Hands in Renaissance style.
Complete with its G. F.

Missing balance wheel, stamp and back cover.
Signed E. GALLÉ Nancy - E. G. (à la Croix de Lorraine) Déposé and bears an old label with handwritten ink under the base.
