Exceptional pair of ebony (Macassar) veneer furniture opening with a drawer in the waist with a rich decoration of ormolu foliage, and two leaves with ormolu frames and rosettes.
Uprights with ringed columns resting on toupee feet, joined by a crosspiece with a gilded bronze rocaille lamp base.
Capped with a rare marble Sarancolin Pyrenees

Stamped and dated Henry Dasson 1879 and signed and dated Henry Dasson on the bronzes.
We find the same architecture of our furniture on the chest of drawers delivered by Daguerre to Saint Cloud in 1788 for the interior cabinet of the king
