Casaquin and petticoat set in changeable silk, Louis XVI period, circa 1787.
Gorge-de-Pigeon changing silk taffeta. Caraco with basques and long sleeves, ruffle gathered on the wrist, basques and around the compères crossed, bust highlighted with flat seams, lining linen string. Petticoat of the same fabric mounted with flat pleats on a slide with slits to access the pockets and large flounce (29 cm high) at the bottom of the skirt.

Width of the strip: 70 cm
Condition: good, two brown spots on top of the right sleeve.
