3 volumes in-12, red morocco, gilt cross in the center of the boards, inner lace, spine ribbed, gilt edges (Brany).
Second edition of the memoirs of this famous sailor, who entered the Royal Navy in 1666, then became lieutenant general in 1682. Small dark spots on the binding, otherwise a good copy in a binding signed by Brany, bookbinder in Paris during the last third of the 19th century.
