Rare episcopal miter embroidered with ecclesiastical arms, Spain, early sixteenth century, gold cloth miter on cardboard core, sparkling embroidery in gold thread guipure and canetille on cordonet decorated with friezes and acanthus flowered amounts punctuated with colored glass cabochons in closed setting. Fanons with the same decoration, the ends fringed with taper, stamped with illegible coat of arms with episcopal hat accompanied by a cord with six tassels. Lining in crimson taffeta, (missing four cabochons, some small accidents), H. 40 cm.
