Embroidered ceremonial hat or crown Zardozi, India, late nineteenth century, midnight blue velvet cap amply embroidered in thread, cannetille and gold and silver sequins of cartridges of flowers around the edge, (wear and small missing). H. 15 cm. See illustration on page 59. We enclose: a pair of mules and a Tunisian wedding headdress and a small embroidered Ottoman hat.
