This memoir lists the expenses of July 29, 1781 and December 22-31, 1782, and concerns the junk to be supplied to him on departure, the payment of the surgeon "in his illness at Cayes St Louis" (in Haiti), his passage to and from Bordeaux, food, the carrying of letters, etc. [Beaumarchais had armed his ship at the time of his departure, but he was not able to do so. [Beaumarchais had armed three ships for the colonies from Bordeaux].
