Mounting in bronze. Handle with scales, rectangular cruise and two half-oreillons, decorated with the Phrygian cap on both sides. Guard with one branch and two long iron quillons folded towards the point, ended by two brass olives. Large straight blade with median edge. Wooden and brass scabbard, with two hollows covered with scarlet cloth of the period (small lacks).

Founded in June 1794, and intended to provide a republican and military education, the school had a very short existence: it was dissolved in October of the same year.
