Handle entirely watermarked with copper. Gilded brass mounting (partly). Helmet cap with grid, empanaché. Guard with a branch. Plate radiating and shell with climbing lion. Quillon in palmette. Blade with flat back, counter-edge, gutter and hollow sides, engraved in third on one side "Constitution"; on the other side, "Liberté Françoise". Leather scabbard with two cut brass fittings, decorated with line.
