Jean PASCAUD (1903-1996).
Rare flat desk with two suspended boxes in blackened and varnished wood (probably restored).
The entablature, with a central recess, is supported by four corner legs in the form of a saber; each finished with a scrolled capital and received by a bronze shoe with a comma motif.
Each box receives a drawer with a front decorated with engraved crosses enriched with rhombuses inlaid with patinated brass.
The panels on the visitor's side of the cabinet are decorated with the drawer fronts.
Years 1940-50.
