Court of Annam, mid-19th century. Carved and gilded wood frame with vine branches, bats and evanescent clouds, typical of the art of the Hué court. Two hanging handles in the shape of bats. Posterior glaze. Dimensions: 61x89,5 cm.
It was probably originally a frame for a painting under glass found in the ornamentation of the palaces of the Hue court from the end of the 18th century.
