In this work, we can see a resemblance with the Moorish tiles that appear in the painting. The construction and painting is different from our work but we can assume that the Moorish interior represented by Henri-Achille ZO was known to his father.
The signature of our work, uncommon in the work of Achille ZO, is nevertheless present in The Spanish Women, a work of 1901, recently acquired by the Bonnat-Helleu Museum in Bayonne.
