Plate of the private service of the Emperor, also known as the Quartiers Généraux, with polychrome and gold decoration in the center of a view of the domain of Rambouillet representing the lake and its boats and the castle in the background. The border is decorated with a green chrome background with radiant decoration of antique swords, laurel frieze and stars in burnished gold. Restoration period mark of the interlaced LL and n° 3. Circa 1807-1808. Diameter : 24,5 cm In 1807, Napoleon ordered from the Imperial Manufacture of Sevres the famous private service of the Emperor for his personal use. Delivered to the Tuileries on March 27, 1810, on the occasion of the marriage of Napoleon and Marie- Louise, this service, of exceptional quality and beauty, included seventy-two dinner plates representing various subjects, twenty-eight of which were supplied by Napoleon himself.
