Desk with eight legs called "Mazarin" of scrolled form, with inlaid decoration in first part of brass on bottom of tortoise shell (Chelonioidea spp) (pre Convention) tinted red. The rectangular top is decorated with dancers under a canopy in the center of a composition after Bérain animated with foliage, tendrils and scrolls, dragons and exotic birds in flight. It opens with six drawers on three rows separated by crosspieces distributed in two boxes, on either side of a central drawer and a door. Louis XIV period. The base is from the later period and consists of eight sheathed feet joined by two X-shaped braces. H. 80.4 cm - Width : 128.5 cm - Depth : 74 cm.
