Note:
A student of Sorolla, the artist lived in France for several years and assimilated the work of the Impressionist painters. His stay in France earned him the nickname "el francesito" upon his return.
In the tradition of Valencian regional painting, renewed by his master Joaquim Sorolla, García Ramón's work is characterized by instantaneity, reflected in an intense treatment of color and a nervous brushstroke.
His favorite themes are intimate scenes, regional customs, and portraits.
Some of his paintings are kept in the Museum of Fine Arts in Valencia.
