[KT]. - Offered for the first time on the international auction market. - This rare, very early woodcut by Karl Schmidt-Rottluff shows a colossal effect. - Japanese woodblock prints of the 19th century, widely used and often illustrated around the turn of the century, for example by Utagawa Hiroshige, may have served as a model.
