These two beautiful fragments of 16th century Iznik tiles have a rare and delicate decoration, on white slip,
of large polychrome mandorles of saz leaves and fleurons, centered with beautiful floral compositions made of carnations
carnations, hyacinths and tulips. A tile of the same group with similar decoration is preserved in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London (Inv.
Albert Museum in London (Inv. No. 405A-1900).
