This page from a manuscript of Firdousi's Shahnameh (or Book of Kings) depicts Manouchehr on his throne
throne, surrounded by his court, in an imposing palace with rich architectural decoration. On the back, the text in
Persian text is divided into four columns of 21 lines. The manuscript was probably completed by painting
a few years after it was copied.
