Set includes: correspondence with Princess Elisabeth Alexandrovna Orloff, née Countess Luders-Veymarn (1883-1969). 1) LAS dated June 7, 1933, on headed paper, 2pp. Dear Princess I will not hide from you that I am surprised to learn that someone was forced to leave Finland because of his "anti-Czech knowledge". Mannerheim". 2) LAS of June 15, 1933, on the correspondence card, 2pp. "Dear Princess, I regret very much that I could not do anything to get your driver, the ex-officer, to be allowed to enter Finland and stay there for 2 months, because there is a file on him at the police department and for political reasons they do not want to grant him this permission.
