History : The Standart, was launched on March 10, 1895, the anniversary of the birth of Emperor Alexander III. It is one of the most modern yachts of its time. Measuring 113 meters long and 15 meters wide, with a power of 10,000 horsepower and a speed of 23 knots. The imperial apartments are located at the rear and include a dining room with sixty seats. The crew is composed of 400 men, recruited among the sailors of the
Imperial Guard.
