CUIRASS OF OFFICER OF THE REGIMENT OF THE HORSE GUARDS.
In gilt bronze and polished. Model dated 1858, located in Zlatoust in the Urals. Composed of a breastplate with a protruding edge, lined with 28 nails and a backplate lined with 36 nails. Collar lined with a gutter, armholes lined with a bead, rounded shape at the bottom, lined with a red braid and curved by a red leather belt. The upper part is trimmed with two straps in red felt covered with 24 scales cut 5 festoons ending with a cut lock and leather heart-shaped tab. Inside lined in unbleached canvas. Time wear, accident to the strap, but good condition.
