History : Charles-Adam de Bylandt-Palstercamp is a French military of Dutch origin (The Hague). He rallied to Louis-Bonaparte, brother of Napoleon I and king of Holland, and became a lieutenant-officer on November 10, 1806. At the beginning of 1807, he was the squire of Queen Consort Hortense de Beauharnais, whom he continued to see during the Restoration.
