An early remake of The Virgin with the Palm Tree, engraved by Marcantonio Raimondi, after a lost composition by Raphael, or his disciple Gian Francesco Penni (1488 - 1528) (See Catalogue of the exhibition Raphael. Les dernières années. p .191 & 192 - Musée du Louvre 2012 - 2013). The painter here has added the figure of Joseph leaning on a low wall, in place of the palm tree, and the large green drapery with golden threads on which the figures stand out.
