[REVOLUTION] Lyon school of the end of the XVIIIth century To the unfortunate and innocent victims immolated in Lyon after the siege of their homeland. Monument erected in Brotteaux in 1795 and pulled down in 1796 Cf. n° 651 of the catalog of the Coste collection written by A. Vingtrinier. Lyon, Perrin, 1853. Very rare aquatint in two tones (brown and black) representing an ephemeral monument erected in Brotteaux. The sheet : 40 x 65 cm The print is cloth-backed, strong marked folds, very dusty margin, shine in the sky especially visible in low light.
