CALABRIA, Taranto (450-425 B.C.). Silver statere. 8,10 g. Taras with his arms stretched forward, on a dolphin on the left. Below, scallop. R/ Oikisteus seated right on a seat, holding a scepter in his right hand and a canthara in his left, his arm extended. Vlasto 197. HGC. 1-758. Rib 72. Very rare. Very well centered and in the best style. A very nice copy. Provenance : Vinchon, 1951.
