MANUSCRIT autograph "Théodore de Banville", Sonnets Antiques; 1 oblong page in-fol. (25 x 36 cm) with decorative chromolithograph band (decoration appears to have been trimmed at the sides and bottom). Album page containing three sonnets and a prose text. Banville has inscribed the title Sonnets Antiques in the phylactery scrolled down the centre of the decorative band. The sonnets, of which only the first is titled, come from the collections Le Sang de la coupe (the 1st and 3rd) and Les Princesses (the 2nd).
