This painter is known by Christ and the Adulteress, which is kept in the Museum of Fine Arts in Ghent (see G. Marlier, The Flemish Renaissance, Pierre Coeck d'Alost, Brussels, 1966, p. 403, fig.360). Subsequently, other works were compared to this one, such as the Annunciation and the Nativity in the Robert Finck Gallery (see opus cit. supra, fig. 361) or the Adoration of the Magi, also in Ghent (see opus cit. supra, fig. 362), which is a fragment of a painting of the same composition as ours.
