GRAND COGNAC BOTTLE "FINE NAPOLEON" 1811 LICHTWITZ & COE BORDEAUX Glass medallion "N", vintage visible on the cap. Bottle very dirty, high shoulder level (can anyone verify difficult to estimate in photo).
Lichtwitz & Co. was a trading company founded in 1861 and was one of the suppliers of the Austro-Hungarian Emperor.
In 1875, two of the Lichtwitz sons set up a part of the trading and supply business in Bordeaux, particularly focused on the purchase and export of wines and cognacs until the French branch disappeared in the 1950s.
This bottle was probably part of the company's remaining stocks before its demise.
Beyond the information communicated as an indication, no information as for the traceability and the conservation of the bottle can be provided.
