"Birth of the Duke of Bordeaux on September 29, 1820
Reverse: France standing, draped and helmeted, raises to the sky the young Duke of Bordeaux whom she helps to hold a lily, France looks in the direction of a radiant cross, at her feet a hydra struck down.
Diameter : 14,8 cm
Unique proof in bronzed pewter of the reverse side of the medal for the birth of the duke of Bordeaux (cf Collignon 215, p 86), variant in the module for the diameter.
Rare.
