The orchestra includes flute, harp, percussion, synthesizer and piano, string quartet. The percussion requires 2 cowbells, 4 suspended cymbals, bongo, 2 toms and 2 wood blocks. Duration 21 minutes 30.
The manuscript is carefully written down in Indian ink on 18-line tracing paper; ff. 18 to 21 are in hard copy (probably after correction).
The score of the Estampes (pages 1-51) consists of 14 sequences, numbered from 1 to 14, each with its own timing. This is followed by the Interludes (pp. 52-73): A1, A2, B, C, D, also timed.
