Manuel ROSENTHAL (1904-2003). Autograph music manuscript signed, Three Prayers for soprano and organ or reduced orchestra, May 1941; title and 3-8-4 pages on 4 bi-fold pages 35 x 27 cm. These Three Prayers, written in May 1941, are dedicated to Reverend Father Régamey. I Inviolata: "You are pure, without stain"..., Andante, 2 flutes and 2 clarinets; II Prayer for Peace: "O God who are the source of holy desires"..., Moderato, 2 flutes, 3 horns, 2 trumpets, 3 trombones, harp, violins I and II, violas; III Angelic Salutation: "Hail, Mary"..., Semplice, flute, violins I and II, violas, cellos, double basses. The manuscript, in black ink on 24-line paper, is signed at the end and dated "Avanne [Doubs] May 4, 1941. The autograph manuscript of the version for soprano and organ (title and 6 pages on 2 bi-fold) is attached.
