Various small restorations. Freckles on the serpente. Otherwise a fine and scarce copy in this particularly rare shade for this title. Orange made its first appearance in 1868 in the range of percalines selected by Hetzel. In the works of Jules Verne, it was rarely used, except for the first printing of Captain Grant's Children. It was used until 1875, especially for single volumes.
