Tibet, 16th-17th century, gilded bronze subject with dark green inlays, representing the bodhisattva Vajradhara seated in dhyanasana on a lotiform base, both hands in vitarka mudra, crossed in front of him, two flowering stems running up the arms, each bearing one of the attributes of the deity, the vajra on the right shoulder and the ghanta bell on the left shoulder, a second vajra resting on the base. The bodhisattva is adorned with jewels and wearing a tiara with five florets. (Missing the upper part of the flower on the left shoulder, with the attribute; wear to the gilding; some deformations to the head, bun, and base, with the base partially unsealed). H. 18 cm.
