Octagonal earthenware dish with polychrome decoration in the center of three Chinese on terraces near orange trees and shrubs, two butterflies in flight, on the wing the coat of arms of Bernart d'Avernes, shells, ironwork and foliage on a background of trellis.
Manufacture of Caussy.
18th century, circa 1735.
L. 34,5 cm.
The coat of arms is that of Eustache de Bernart, lords of Avernes and Courmesnil, raised in 1734 to the rank of Grand Prior of Champagne of the Order of Malta.
