An exceptional copy dedicated and signed by André Masson for Roger Passeron. The two title pages are signed by André Masson. In the first volume is an original double page ink and pastel drawing signed by Masson, titled "Pour l'Espoir". In the second volume is a second pastel monogrammed by Masson and an original ink drawing signed and dated 1946 by Masson, a preparatory drawing for the lithograph on p. 35.
