Vincent Manago (1880-1936) was a French painter of orientalist style. He studied art at the Académie Julian in Paris, where he was trained by Jean-Paul Laurens. Vincent Manago was a very popular painter in Marseille between 1900 and 1913, where his work was shown at the Marseille International Fair and at the Colonial Exhibition of African and Provençal Landscapes.
He specialized in landscape, marine and genre paintings of the Mediterranean coast (Martiques, La Rochelle, Venice) and in Orientalist painting. The latter showed the influence of his stay in Tunisia and Algeria on his art. He used bright colors in his paintings.
