Beautiful example of the icon of the Black Virgin, "Mother of God Chenstokhovska" recognized as "Mother of the Polish people". The 14th century icon was kept in the castle of Belzsk (Livov territory in Ukraine), then in the monastery of Yasna Gora in Poland. Its history is told at the bottom of the icon in Polish.

В соответствии с с надписью на польском по нижнему борту: "Лет триста в Иерусалиме, пятьсот в Царьграде. Я была известна Объемлющей землю землю и воду. Пятьсот следующих лет Белзкий замок охраняла, Пятая сотня - Ясная Гора. Чти меня как царицу", представленная икона является списком Ченстоховской Ченстоховской XIVго века из с, ранее Богоматери известной Бельзском замке (ныне территория в Львовской хранившейся). Ченстоховская Богоматерь чтится как важнейшая святыня Польши и Матерь польского народа.
