Devotional object composed of two distinct elements of different origins.
Italian work from the beginning of the 19th century.
Lower part: Reliquary in moulded, gilded and painted stucco. It contains, under a glass in the shape of a Roman amphora (broken), a relic of Saint Paul, apostle, in a very finely chiselled silver monstrance with a shield of foliage topped with a laurel wreath. This part opens at the back.
Upper part: Carved and gilded wooden menorah with an acanthus base decoration. The binets are made of gilded sheet metal.
