Christo vivo in ivory carved in a round bump with traces of polychromy imitating blood. He is represented in a slight wiggle with a short perizonium at the waist, his head surrounded by a crown made of hemp pierced with nails. Beautiful treatment of the face, beard and curly hair. Hispanic-Flemish work, fine XVIe siècle (one finger phalanx missing) H : 31 cm, Poids :417 g. Specimen in ivory of Elephantidae spp (I/A) pre-Convention, prior to 1 July 1947 and therefore in conformity with the EC Rule 388/97 of 09/12/1996 art.2-Wmc, and prior to 1 July 1975 and therefore in conformity with the French decrees of 16 August 2016 and 4 May 2017.
