Tablecloth or part of an embroidered bedding, Southern Italy, 17th century, the field in pink taffeta embroidered polychrome silk with a flat past and the majolica stitch of a rosette and bouquets with spandrels of tulips, poppies and other flowers. Border with similar decoration embroidered on silk net, (accidents, restorations, added trimmings), approx. 240 x 160 cm.
