Chasuble with embroidered orphreys, Spain, 16th century, green cut silk velvet; applied bands of orphreys in crimson satin embroidered with polychrome silk in split stitch and majolica stitch, gold and silver stitching and embossing of candelabra uprights alternating with five medallions representing the Virgin and Child Jesus, St. Lucia, St. Barbara, St. John and St. Catherine of Alexandria. Fringe cut on the periphery, canvas lining (wear and tear).
