Letter concerning the sending of the Missa solemnis to London.
[Kirchhoffer was a cashier at the Hofmann & Goldstein Bank in Vienna, and he helped Beethoven several times in 1823 to send music to their friend Ferdinand RIES (1784-1838) in London, and to transfer money. The idea here is to send the Missa solemnis op. 123, which Beethoven has just completed, to London to Ferdinand Ries in order to find a publisher.] "Mein werther Kirchhoffer. Beethoven asked Kirchhoffer to find out if it would not be possible to send a package to London through the English Embassy. He will send the answer to this question.
