Camille Henrot (Née en 1978)

Born in 1978, the French artist - who divides her life between Berlin and New York - joins the powerful Swiss gallery. She will however continue her collaboration with Kamel Mennour in Paris and König in Berlin. Camille Henrot had received the Silver Lion at the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013.

The selection of watercolors, drawings and collage paintings “captures the complexity of living as both private individuals and global citizens”.

September 13, La Poste will issue a new stamp in its artistic series, designed by Camille Henrot. Entitled A mon humble avis, (In My Humble Opinion) it takes up themes dear to the artist, such as the exchange of information. Henrot received the Silver Lion for the best young artist at the Venice Biennale in 2013.

The modern and contemporary art fair is back from April 8 to 10. There are 26 first-time participants, such as Konrad Fischer or Thomas Zander, out of the 85 expected. Kamel Mennour will be exhibiting Camille Henrot and Alicja Kwade. Digital offers - online store, magazine and VIP space - are planned!
